Thanks, I have the miniSD supercard, will Moonshell work without a superkey or pass or whatever? And I've tried putting in the _BOOT_MP.nds into my miniSD, but when I boot up my supercard, it can only read GBA files! Please help!

Dude!  :roll:  You need to spend more time reading the forums before you ask for EMERGENCY HELP!  This stuff has been covered in great detail. Try using the forum search feature.

Your Supercard can not run DS ROMs and homebrew unless you use superkey or some other pass device. Without a pass device (or FlashMe) your supercard will only work in GBA mode. Moonshell is DS code and will not run in GBA mode.

yeah u need a superkey to run unsigned code, and run ds mode from a gba cart

What do you mean? I'm confused. You have a DS Lite and a Supercard SD and you are only interested in a GBA stuff?  The GBA movie player sucks compared to Moonshell.  If you want to run Moonshell and DSOrganize you will need to use a pass device or flash your DS Lite with FlashMe.  Only then will you have free range of DS ROMs and homebrew.  I will flash your DS Lite if you are interested . . .

hey, sorry for the confusion. I read something off of the first page of this topic and I responded to that. I don't have a superkey or a pass. I have a DS lite and an SDmini Supercard. What do you mean you'll flash my DS lite?

This all comes as something of a shock to me.

I have a friend in the UK, a female business graduate student, who knows nothing about computers, never owned a game system, had no idea what a SuperCard was or even the differences between flash memory cards were...

...and yet, with only minimal guidance from me, was able to get everything set up just fine. She's running a DSlite with a NoPass and the SC Lite, with a 1gb MicroSD card.

Just yesterday she found out she can have WiFi on the DS! She had no idea, but was still able to get everything else running perfectly.

Is it too much to ask for some people to READ everything first? Maybe take notes on the sections that pertain to their situation? Or is it common internet etiquette to just jump in, make EMERGENCY HELP threads and expect the answers to just come?

hey, i'm new, i've tried looking for things, and I just have no knowledge of this, so gimme a break. My friend keeps telling me that there is a movie player for the miniSD supercard that works without the superkey or Passme, but I still can't find it. See, still new.

If you're talking about a media player (music/movies/txt. files) for GBA mode, you must be looking for FilmPlay.

The file should be in the mini disk that comes with your Supercard MiniSD. Try looking there.

Once you got the file, put it anywhere on your card.

You need a superkey to run moonshell.  Or FlashMe.  Moonshell is a DS homebrew so you need something so that the DS runs in DS mode from the gba slot.

I didn't get a disk with my miniSD i don't know why. But thanks for the help, i'm glad someone will help me without complaining. I'll find the program on the net.
