When I downloaded v. 2.56 I got these files besides the setup.exe:

1) moonshell reset for supercard.nds
2) patch moomshell for supercard
3) sc font file

what do these do?  Why were they included?

1. resets the ds when you load it
2. i think that patches moonshell to work on the ds
3. i have no idea.

if u put it in the root folder it enables long file names i think

maybe i misread something

it could also just be a copy of the supercard font...

You're right: http://scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5337 pte says that's what it does
