Well i dont understand the quiting of DSScene.
He has his DSO scene where he is the boss. Ok well some assholes write shit in his blog, but at least
most didnt. Most ppl liked drugwarez and DSO. So if he gots problems with certain ppls he can quite #dsdev/#mellowdsdev. Of course he can also stop coding on his app. Sure. But he wont reach anything with stoping it. I really think he could reach more by shitting of irc-channels and go on with his app. Pppl would see, disturbing him is just a waste of time. He wont give up...or even he apears to be stronger then them.

About all bad things relating to Darkfader:
I dont think he coded it for public. He found out where bios is mapped, and wrote an app which overwrites it. Quite simple and a hard but funny joke. So lets think he sended it one or 2 ppl. To play a joke with them. Their DS were bricked and they released it under his name. Et voila, DarkFader becomed famouse to be the bad guy who destroys nds from childs. A realy evils soul. But in that case, he would just had wanted to brick DS of one or 2 ppl, who mabe knowed how to unbrick. But they had used it to make a strikeback.
^^This is just a way how it could hv been happened. I dont know the truth. But u dont know it eighter, stop trowing shit on him. You ppl are such a consume community, u belave all u read. Just knowing 10% informations is enough to know the "bricker".

About splitted scene:
When darkvader was banned out dsdev, he still had friends and still wanted to chat in a group of his coderfriends.
I dont see a problem to invite them. Its not splitting to open another channel.
If i want to speak a certain person, i can visit both sides. Nobody tells me: Payk! shouldnt u stay on the other side?
I dont know what SC did. And in fact, i never will found out the trueth, because everyone sings different songs.

He just was the first one. If he wouldnt have done it, somebody else would have done it a week later.

I really think this whole thing is silly. It's "nds homebrew politics!" The fact that we have nds homebrew politics is rediculous. Dragonminded was fed up with the nds homebrew politics and so he left.

I can also understand why dragonminded didn't want someone continuing the development of DSorganise. There may be some users that still think that dragonminded was the developer of it and wouln't read the updated text on who to contact. They would then contact Dragonminded, thinking he/she was still the developer and yell at her for breaking their supercard or whatever else. When you leave the community, you want the community out of your life.

HOWEVER...

there is absolutly no reason why someone can't change the name of the project as well as all the graphics and use dragonminded's sorce code. It would work just like DSorganise but no one could possibly mistake it for dragonminded's work.

That's my opinon on the matter. :wink:

That's what I ment, for them to give dragon minded credit, but to make it EXTREEMLY CLEAR that he/she was not the developer.

If you did some research you would find that Dragonminded was quitting before this whole StoneCypher thing; StoneCypher called him out on quitting the "scene" several times before and Dragonminded decided to get sand in his vagina and made a gigantic fucking deal out of it.

DSorganise was clearly the best homebrew app. And it was one of the few that was made by ONE PERSON!

Think about it. Moonshell, DSlinux, and all the other big homebrew apps were made by tons of diffren't developers.

Dragaonminded was clearly the best nds homebrew programmer that exsists/exsisted.

I hope he/she comes back. I tell you, if he/she tried, he/she'd easily get a proffesional programming job.

I wonder if dragonminded reads what people say about him/her on various forms; not posting to make it seem like she' s truly withdrawed.

Everyone thought he/she deleted DSorganise off her site. He/she did, I saw. But now the site is back up! Wierd. Obviously, she hasn't completly withdrawed, or we wouldn't see changes on her site. (changes as in things being deleted and put back.)

I just don't know what's going on. The whole thing is wierd. And no one knows for sure what really happend. The dissadvatage of having a "community" of people spread across the world only communicating threw computers is that we have to nothing else to go by exept the word of mouth.

People have been saying that the nds homebrew community appears to be slowly dying. What, besides Dragonminded quitting makes you say that? The homebrew community is still thriving, as we improve in snes emulation, nes emulation, other kinds of emulation, homebrew web browsers, and operating system for the ds known as DSlinux and a media center known as moonshell. I don't see anythign dying.
