can you set the ds to automatic startup? its in the settings of the ds, wud that work?

automatic startup to slot 1 will work

Flashing your DS will allow the DS to start up on the Supercard Lite screen - and without using your superkey.  There's lots of tutorials on youtube which a quick search will find.
