I'm currently using 1.41

Test SRAM

sram ERROR:
010502050305040555aa

CPLD error

Test sdram

sdram ok!

Test flash

flash id ok!
flash ok!

Test CF

CF ok!
not find test file

Now SC Version:1.41

I downloaded the new firmware 1.63 , but I get an error message after acccepting to update the firmware saying

This isn't accurate upgrade file. Please turn off GBA.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm using a 4GB Hi Speed 100 pq1 Compact Flash card formated in FAT format. Have about 300 games on the card, and 4 or 5 feature length movies and 300 picture slide show. Everything plays fine, but none of the realitme Save features work.

Everytime I attempt the realtime save, the GBA SP crashes with a solid color screen (sometimes black, or blue even majenta once, and periodically garbled graphics always garbled sound though). I have an older GBA SP and a newer model with the brighter screen. Both units crash. My other Supercard with this same version, and same CF card realtime saves and loads perfectly, test perfectly, but it also will not load the new firmware giving the same error message.

Primarily, i'm trying to find out if the SC CF card with the sram ERROR:
010502050305040555aa
and
CPLD error

The one that also crashes when I try the Realtime Save, is repairable as I really love the realtime save.

Secondarily, I would like to know why I can't update my firmware from 1.41 in either of my supercards, and where I can download older firmware updates to try and step it up gradually.

I've downloaded about 12 different 1.63 firmware updates, I've tried all the different models of Supercard, I'm putting the upgrade.scu file by itself on the CF chip.  I'm upgrading the Firmware the same way I upgraded to 1.41.

Is the one SuperCard Dead for realtime save? Can it be fixed? I ordered another one from www.realhotstuff.com I ordered it monday and it says it shipped monday, I hope so.

Does anyone know if  there is another site for all the past firmware versions leading upto 1.63? I think I was out of the loop for so long, my SuperCard can't make the jump from 1.41 to 1.63

I have researched this topic myself for about 27 actual hours spread out over a week. Sorry if I missed this discussion somewhere else in the boards.

Please Help!

First of all why did you create 3 different threads?

Second of all, are you using the upgrade file for CF?  You shouldn't use the SD or microSD one.

The older firmware updates are available here.  Click the downloads button on the left and go to the download archive.

Lastly, why did you add a poll?

^ you said exactly what i had in mind lol

Violent, why don't you delete one of your double posts. You will get better results with your poll!

Moderator, please delete two of the three polls

Didn't tripple post on purpose!

Thanks for the advice!

I was given all these options for a Poll and uploading files, and I wanted to try them all for some reason.  When I typed the one poll with 4 answers, I didn't realize that I had to click the add poll option one more time on the 4th option that I typed, so when I clicked submit, the poll only had 3 options, so I clicked the back button and added the 4th option the right way, and clicked submit, which I thought actually edited my origional post, not duplicated it.  I did look around, and all I saw was the one post.

On the last website Pocket Heaven, I had like 80 page views before anyone commented telling me to try your website.  I thought that if history was to repeat itself, at the very least, I could give people an option to vote on something if they had no clue how to help me.

I was able to download all the past updates from the download archive.  I tried several of them with no luck till i got to 1.54 which was a .bin format ran in the loader program.  Again I couldnt update untill I got the 1.62 .bin file.  After that I was able to update with the upgrade.scu file to 1.63

Now I'm going to see if it helped my realtime save at all.
