I'm considering getting a SuperCard SD or SuperCard Lite in the near future and I have a few questions.  I would prefer a supercard Lite however, the microSDs are like twice as expensive as SDs, and I really don't wanna shell out that much money.

Firstly I hear that SuperCard Lite has better performance than Supercard SD, is this gap in performance big enough to matter?

Secondly I hear both supercard Lite and Supercard SD has bad GBA performance, exactly what is wrong with it, and is it serious enough that it would prevent me from enjoy playing GBA games.

Thirdly, I was wondering what brands of (micro)SD are the best to use for the price they are. The best bang for your buck if you will.

Lastly, are there any other reasons I would consider choosing supercard Lite over SD or vice versa, or even choose another brand of card altogether?

Also I have 2 small homebrew questions,
First question is, is there a homebrew that allows me to read PDFs?

and last, I heard, from this site actually, that the guy who made DSOrganize quit, I checked to see if the site is down and sure enough it is. I was wondering if there was a place online that allowed me to download the last version that was released that would be compatable with Supercard SD, or lite.

The Supercard Lite has the fastest read/write speeds of all flash card solutions.  The SC Lite version seems to work well with ordinary Sandisk and generic microsSD media.  People have reported the Castlevania video runs flawlessly, as well as Animal Crossing and Tony Hawk.  The new SC Lite Rumble apparently does not support GBA like the original SC Lite. Supercard Lite does not stick out of the DS Lite GBA port.

Both Supercard SD and miniSD are great products.  They fit into any size DS, and currently have better homebrew compatibility (DSOrganize etc.) than newer flash card solutions. Most DS games (99%) run flawlessly with SCSD and miniSD. For SD versions you will probably want to get 80x or better flash media. Fast 2GB SD and miniSD media can be purchased for less than $40 these days.

I wouldn't call Supercard GBA support "bad", but it's not great.  The problem is a limitation of the Supercard internal RAM speed, and no RTC for GBA games. Expect about 80% GBA compatibility

Thank you very much for the help. You mentioned SD cards can be picked up real cheap(a good 2G one being less that 40 dollars(usd I'm guessing)). Where is it I might find some this cheap, everywhere I've looked thus far has been a bit more expensive. I'm leaning towards a supercard SD right now simply cuz it's about all I might be able to swing affording wise right now.

Also most sites I've checked, under most of the card descriptions I wasn't able to see the x80 or whatever, how do I know the speed of it in terms of xwhatever?

Also, do are any of the sites with cheap SD cards also good sites for buying a supercard SD for someone in canada, I ask because kicktrading which was suggested in the guide to flashcarts in the how to/faq forum doesn't sell sd cards, and it might be better to get them all in one order.

One last question, well I repeat of the older question, is there a pdf reader homebrew for the ds at the moment?
