This is one theme I ment to make for a few days. I didn't get quite what I wanted. I wanted those little corner brackets, like in the ds menu, but the highlight color wouldn't cover the whole area. But got to work with what you got. :)

DS Style - Red

I will make some color varients later too.

And here is my translation to english of  flashmp.nds, simply done by hex-editing the binary :

WARNING I didn't test it and you should not test it before Arcc aproves it ( I have no way of restoring a crashed SC if it happens to me, so I just ran it to check the text displayed, but didn't flash with it ). If you're just crazy and want to use it replace flashmp.nds in your SCZ folder and run Compiler.bat - DON'T BLAME ME if your SC is turned into a paperweight using this.

Quote from: "arcc"Hmmm...I am affraid I don't know what to to do for ya, if it's not showing up at all. Is your card pretty new or old? Did you use the upgrade.scu from firmware 1.61? I seem to recall hearing that it was an oddball update that did something to the supercard, which may be what you need. If so, try rolling back to 1.61, then reflashing 1.63, then finally give your skinned version a go.

My supercard SD mini is pretty much brand new, and has the 1.63 firmware... how would I roll back to 1.61 and then reflash?

Awesome, It worked just fine. I will update the guide with it here in a wee bit. Thanks for the hard work!

Just hop on over to the download archive and nab 1.61-1.63 and install them sequentially. I really have no idea if this will make a differance or not, but it's the only thing I can think of.

Nice work guys, this goes a *heck* of alot further than just changing whether SC boots DS or GBA with flashme  :D

Another little utility :

SCPreview (246ko)

writes another png after the preview:

Hey guys
Great project, although i have a weird problem =/ the skin.bat file dosen't do anything...i put the 3 files + the firmware in the folder, run the skin.bat,it detects everything;so i use the 2nd option and it says that all went well, but i don't see any preview.png in the folder =/ what could this possibly be?

meangreenie
