Well, apparently (according to a post in the official forum) the GBA Micro is NOT compatible with supercard SD.  

Maybe it is just due to human error... I would like to hear more from other users.  The user who posted this information is based in Thailand.

oh.. if it's just the same issue with the firmware, I was already aware of that (my wife uses a GBA SP, and can't use my supercard with the new firmware)...

I thought the guy on the official forum was saying there's a Micro-specific issue with supercard.

You're probably right. maybe he didn't know that this was already an issue with supercard's kernel.

Will the firmware problem be resolved or can we downgrade back to a gba compatible firmware?

ROMMAN said just upgrade if you will use in a NDS,  lot of people say that after upgrade SC do not work on GBA anymore

if you upgrade, you have to patch all of your games with the new patching software.  even for gba games.  right?

that's right, you have to patch with the patching software that matches your kernel version.

but i had no issue with compatibility since  i play all my GBA games on my DS.
