HELP ME PLEASE

i downloaded someones save from this site & i put it on my sc & it worked fine then i tried to put my save back on & it worked:D the next day i went to play it & it keeps starting from the begining i have a back up of my save on my computer but wevrytime i put it on my ds it ignors it & have to start agen
help please
