What are the Pro of the Supercard CF?
I own one from over 5 months now,  what problems are occuring to CF people? are they experiencing sudden supercard deaths or those are faulty SCs in that case? Because I do not want to lose my Supercard Cf in the middle of this heaven. I know how to use it well, and I take care of it too, but are there any precautions or something I need to do in order to extend its life.

Quote from: "ghaxaq"Do you also own a Supercard, if so make a rating scheme. For example Loading time m3 gets 2 or 1 or supercard gets 1 etc, and finally make it like 7/10 rating for each cart.
Yes, I own both versions of the Supercard (although the POS CF version just died recently so only the superior SD version to compare with right now) so it's very easy to compare.  The M3 is superior in loading times.

Man I don't like hearin about these Supercards dying, it's tragic.

I can only hope that the SD version is manufactured better...

Stupid2ass, is the M3 TRULY worth another 50 dollars (after shipping) than a supercard?

Depends on what you're after.
If you want ease of use (drop in the game, play, no slowdown, RTC - must patch first), then the $50 may be worth it to you.
And it's not $50 more, the SC I believe is about $45.  I got my M3 for $89 with Superpass so take off say $20 for that adapter and it's about $69-$45 = about $25 more expensive.
It all depends on how the M3 handles DS stuff.  So far I have no clue since those guys are still having trouble running 'em properly which does not bode due to the delay after delay and still it's not out.  Moonshell is sweet though, able to play native mp3s.

But to me, no.  The SC SD version (I'd stay away from the CF) is more than capable.  I only ordered the M3 after my SC CF version died.  I had 2x1GB CF cards with no real purpose so I went with the M3.
As for load times, I'd say the M3 loaded about 40% faster than my SD Supercard.

but why do the Supercard CF die will mine die too? and how long did you have yours before it died?
