I'm trying to get a .gba outted here but everytime I go to the options, the box for copmressing the file is always greyed out, I'd just tried to do this with 3 seperate versions of the software and they all are doing the exact same even for games I was able to compress just fine before.

What's up?

Please read my SuperCard guide here for everything you'll need to know:

http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=31463

But here is the quick info on the subject:

QuoteEnable Compress:

This option compresses the GBA ROM and outputs the ROM as a “SCZ” file. A compressed ROM can sometimes save you approximately up to 50% of the normal ROM size on your flash media. Newer versions of the SuperCard patcher program have this option disabled as earlier versions were causing issues with some ROMs. The SuperCard team hopes to reincorporate it back into the options once the bugs have been worked out.

Enjoy,

Think you need the version released 3 versions ago, I have it installed to a different folder just for doing compressed gba.

You were correct dai_uk, as I had stopped just short of the number of different versions I needed to in order to get a .scz when I posted the thread, shortly after I found a version that worked 2.42 I believe it was, had already been in my directory but what is odd is that I could have sworn that I'd compressed plenty of gbas with 2.5x before and that only now it completely wouldn't let me. It's very weird that my patcher seemed to have changed itself suddenly without me changing versions since my last gba compression, but at least I got what I needed to done.
