Well, I saw a thread of GBATemp.net and it was talking about how the guy thinks piracy is getting bad, blah blah blah, cutting into Nintendo's profit, you should buy games, blah blah blah.

Well, my question is how many games (REAL ONES) do you own?  And do you use your Supercard for stealing games, or do you try them out, or do you just use them for homebrew.

Some people don't think its a big deal, others do, the fact is DS piracy is starting to get bigger and bigger, what do you think?

Well, I'll just start off with me, I used to buy all games, I had a flashcart, but I bought all games.  I had about 10 games, but then I ran low on money.  So I started using my flashcart more, then I got the Supercard Mini SD, and started pirating more games.  At one point, I needed money for my DS Lite, so I sold off all my games except one, and only have one (Metroid).

I got more than 8, I bought a ton of the early games (Yoshi Touch n Go...omg) within the first 7 months the DS was released...then when SC announced DS compatibility, I stopped buying games...well, I bought around 3 since that day, Nintendogs, Star Fox and Tetris >_>

What was funny was I imported Jump Superstars for around $50+ USD a few days before the SC team announced DS functions..

I think between my son and I we have 12 or 13 for DS. We've got well over 30 games for the GCN, and over 20 for GBA. (just looking at current systems)

Also have 2 SCLite's and 2 EFA-Linker carts, 2 DSLite's and 2 GBA-SP's. Doing my part for both industries.  8)

5-8 (Had lots of games before you realized you can get them on Supercard)
basically sums it up.  Im pretty poor though so the Supercard gives me much enjoyment :)

I don't have that many because i started my ds collection this summer and my gc has way more games so i don't want to spend that much on ds stuff.

I own two games and I'm selling them on ebay. I don't currently have a Supercard and the only game I want to own is the original Metroid demo. I had to debate myself on getting the full version of the game but I wasn't a big fan of the online multi player or the in game story... all I really like is that easy quick play of the demo.

I really don't care about people whinning about piracy. The people who bring up the moral issue of it always seem high and mighty about the fact that they're going clean... as if anyone is going to miss em. They always seem to want to point the finger at someone else, lame asses.

I usually detect the jealously from the whiners because some roms are dumped early, and they can't play it as soon as pirates can. ;)

New Super Mario Bros, Pokemon Diamond, Children of Mana etc.

I buy what I play(actually play).

frip

piracy, whats this i use my supercard for only ds organize, i dont even know what a rom is

mescalin

I've got 5 games and no Roms.  I'm not that prolific a games player, most games don't interest me.  I bought my Supercard to play ScummVM and Television shows (which is another sort of piracy in itself), and that suits me well.

Robotochan

I buy games worth buying, I try them first on ROMs as I live in the UK so they are out in the US about a few months before they are here.

This post reminds me of persons complaining about returning ds's that break or messed up due to flashing, say it is wrong, then turn around use roms dl'ed without buying the game saying that it is not as bad.

Gleasonator

I have 15 games... but that was before I knew about the SuperCard.

I don't even own the MP:H demo. I haven't bought any game for the DS. I bought the DS Lite when it came out in europe and ordered a MML to go along with my supercard SD.
I do have a great deal of gba games though.
