I was just wandering if there was a way to fix this. I have a supercard SD and the battery nearly always runs out. whenever i switch on the DS with supercard inside the light is always red.

anyone else experiancing this?

Devil_Spawn

not at all. maybe you need to replace your battery?

masterX

You mean the supercard battery right? becuase i dont have this problem with my other DS games and carts

It sounds like your SCSD is drawing too much power.  Can you try a different SD card? I would stop using that SC before it blows a fuse in your DS. Look for a stray piece of metal or something inside the SC case.

masterX

no i cant really detect any signs of damage but something must be causing it becuase. i just charged my ds to full and tried out the supercard with my 512 sd inside 1minute later the led is red  :?

Devil_Spawn

it sounds to me like your battery is running out, they do over time,
how long does it last with a red light, and how long does it last with no scsd in???

masterX

it lasts for a long time without the supercard in the slot.

i havent really tested it out when the battery is red.

Do you always empty the battery completely before charging? If you don't, you've probably trashed the battery. Supercard has slightly higher drain than a regular cart, but should still give 4 hours of green-light play.

that may have been true for nickel-cadium but lithium-ion batterys are a differeny story. my guess would be the sc, maybe there are some bad solders.

ohhhhh boy... can't wait for a DSL SC.

the only way u can damadge li-ion batteries is by leaving them completely empty for too long, and i heard some people mentioning completely full for too long but im not sure about that
