SC Lite works, SC SD doesn't

First of all I started with a DS Lite, bought a SC Lite and installed the patch software in the bundle on this website.  Everythings been working GREAT!

I also have a DS Phatty. For it I purchased a SuperCard SD.  I got it in today, copied all the patched roms from my SC Lite card to my SCSD card (miniSD).  The SuperCard on the Phatty boots up great, shows the list of games, I click a game and all I get is a white screen.  Same for every game.  it still lets me to a reset back to the game list though.

Then I noticed that there is different patching software for the SD than the Lite.  I installed it on a diff pc and repatched all my clean roms, copied them to the phatty, but now i'm getting the same thing

I did a self test and everything is ok, but I noticed the firmware version is 1.62 on theh Supercard SD.  Should I upgrade? I didn't have to on my Supercard Lite.  All these DS's in question have SuperKeys.

ALSO, I actually have 2 DS Phatty's, and I'm getting this same problem on both of them, even when I switch their Supercard SD's around.

HELP!

Thank you!

well i upgraded the firmware and it worked!  :)

w00t!  But do I have to patch using different software for the SC than the SC Lite?

liquidnitrogen

yes, sc SD and miniSD share the same software while the SCLite doesnt

so yes, you do

No you don't.

The packages are different, but the resulting patched ROMs are identical. The only difference is that the Lite package contains the moonshell patcher.

Edit: Also, I've copied ROMs patched for my SCSD to my friend's SCLite, and they worked fine.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.
