1.7 english firmware on a chinese supercard lite?

Hey, have anyone tried to upgrade their chinese supercard lite or any supercard with the englihs firmware? If you have can you please tell me if it was successful or not?

i seem to remember that it is a blocked function, and you cannot change languages

yeah you couldnt do it with 1.63 but i was wondering maybe they changed that for 1.7? oh well.

BTW hey kvnchg, do you have the firmware 1.70 for chinese microsd?
The download link on the chinese site stops at 4kb and gets a damaged zip file.

Im using a chinese SCL too.

XD yeah it doesnt work i just tried it.... It gives u a error message saying its not an english supercard.

And no... I have been trying to get the chinese firmware for awhile now... stupid site wont work.

i can get english and chinese version for the same price from supercard factory

Upgraded my chinese SCLite now. The link on the site was fixed.

I want the administrator to put the data of a Chinese version on download area.
In my network environment, it is because the connection situation of the China site is bad. :cry:

i was thinking, if you dump the SC:Lite firmware from an english card, then put it into flashmp.nds using arcc's 'skinner' program, (WITHOUT changing the graphics coz that bricks it) then flash that onto your lite? flashmp doesn't check which version you have at the moment, does it?
