Is there any software that bypasses IE's proxy configuration?

Mavromatis

Every software bypasses IE's proxy configuration since each one has it own proxy settings except some.

exzapel

I meant within IE, like if I wanted to surf the web without my school's annoying proxy block, which also slows down the web considerably.

Mavromatis

Just disable the proxy? I did that in mine and worked or use anthor browser like opera of firefox.

exzapel

I tried, please, no obvious solutions such as trying to disable the proxy from IE, they have the accounts so limited that all you can do is run applications.

I tried, everything useful I found involved installing something, I asked for help, not google. All I said to you was that I excersized all obvious options when one is trying to circumvent a proxy.

How about you wait till you get home to surf and stop having a go at people trying to help you.  The first rule in tech support is to treat the end user as a retard.

exzapel

At home, I can figure out anything, but I was at school, I am not a general end user unless I am constricted by things like at my school, they have it so you can't even open My computer or Control Panel.

'My Computer"... lol.

You're just a little demanding, man.  Be more patient.  I dont know why you expect people to hold your hand and tell you exactly what to do.  I think the google comment was obviously sarcastic, but I completely agree with it.  Search it out, read about it, then ask questions.  Nobody is just going to give you answers simply because you demand them.

exzapel

I wasn't demanding answers, but I don't like being spoken to sarcasticly, the only problem had was the sarcastic reply I got. If he didn't want to help me any further, he didn't need to reply.

And yes, they blocked My Computer, for what reason? I don't know.
Now that I am home, I can find the information for myself, but all I was looking for was a quick way around the proxy block that was on the computer, and for me to know that it was one of those proxy servers that filters out web pages should be well enough to know that I would think to check the proxy settings.

Mavromatis

Well that reply wasn't sarcastic, I tried to help. And how can I kow your level of knowledge about computer? By the way I can't see any relation with blocked "My Computer" and "Control Panel" with Internet Explorer Options? And I don't know or heard any "proxy" that can block internet explorer options.

exzapel

The proxy didn't block anything besides webpages, my school did, and second, the way you said it was either sarcastic  or condescending, both of which are rude to be when you are trying to help people.

Well that was neither sarcastic nor condescending if you ask me, and when it comes to what I do I prefer you ask me. Anyway let's make this clear; you do mean that you can't access Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Lan Settings because they somehow blocked it?
