Nintendogs partially-saving.. Grrr..

Hey all! I'm usually quite good at figuring most of this stuff straight off the bat. But this time I'm really stumped. I've had a look on these forums to try and find an answer this problem already, but i can't find a match.

There a few roms in question which I'm having a problem creating save games, but Nintendogs has been the biggest bearbug of them all.

I've only just joined on the bandwagon with fw1.63/sw2.56, but upgraded as soon as i heard the new releases were out. For some reason though, i can start a new game (say with rom 0091) and save, but when I reload none of the menu options such as supplies/walk and save icons reappear, yet tricks do appear to be remembered (otherwise he'd be an ultra-shit puppy).

I've tried this with versions 0154 and 0102 too, patched using the supercard software with both default options and those as listed at Dualscene. The roms will all run, but behave in exactly the same way when trying to save.  I've even got down that all unlocked save with "Shiggy" on the forum, but again, the same dilemma.

All the roms are clean, and saver is defo set for SD. I thought the SD card may have been the problem, but so far I have tried a 64MB one, 2.0Gb ultra-II and 2.0GB normal-speed (all FAT formated of course) and all result in the same partially-saved files for Nintendog versions.

I've also tried the combination of both fw1.63/sw2.56 & the current ones respectively, but that has made no difference to the outcome.

Do I need to exploit the QPC or something for Nindogs to save? I don't really wanna consider using a DS card to save, its not the way forward. Plus the SC SD seems to get it right for most roms out-the-box (barring Advance Wars DS and Phoenix Wright which are also p*ss*n' me off with their inability to save).

Maybe there's something I've missed.. I'm not sure, but I'm running out of ideas.. If anyone can shed some DSlite on this, it would be appreciated.

I've reloaded the new firmware again. All appears well with Nintendogs now.
Thanks for the tip-off on that.
