Where is everyone getting this rom?   I looked on usenet, searched torrents, and checked release lists, and can't find it anywhere. ;-/

I haven't gotten any roms patched with this to work...kinda disappointing on my end.

sWampy, we can't guide you to roms..  but it's not called castlevania in japan.. it's "dracula" something.. keep your eyes open for that.. heh.

ahh,   Akumajou_Dracula_Aoitsuki_no_Juujika_JPN_NDS-WRG didn't know that was castlevania.  Is this a clean dump, all the others I see are NUKED, still doesn't have a release number.

Hmm I have been playing around with my backup image of Nintendogs and am slightly puzzled... why when I save in game power off then select to save to SD does the SC think its only a 64k save? I created a dummy 2m file to see if it worked it out via file size but that seems to make no difference... it states its saving 64k fine but the file is still 2m... The save itself is fine so its definately doing something "good" ;) To the guy who wanted a gui to the patcher I'll see if I get time tonight, should be as trival as dslazy ;)

I would be gutted by this generic patcher since I just got my SC and put my old visoly 256mb card on Ebay but I think it only has 1m SRAM so no good for nintendo dogs anyway :) Its great news for the DS scene though cheers Kain!

Dudu.exe

WE CANT POST ROM LINKS IN THIS FORUM... SO PLEASE DONT ASK!!!

here you can find a list of tested roms with file names and save size...
but look for then by yourself!

there is no 2mb .sav file...   we are sing  a gba 64k for saving thsi file you can find inside Supercard patcher folder

Supercard ( and others FLASHCARDS ) has only 64kb of SRAM for saving... so 2m save games dont save properly yet ( wait for romman release for this games)

I understood GBA carts had varying amounts of SRAM ie I'm pretty sure my old Visoly had 1m partitioned into 4x256k and that was pretty old, but allowed you to use up all of the space with one save if you wished....

Quote from: "Dudu.exe"Ive tested With Advanced DS.. works amazing...  ( booting with metroid demo ) !!!!!!!!!

Nintendogs Crashes sometimes... when save is too big to fit in sram...

Tested with SUPERCARD!!! saved with QPC  in a GBA .sav file

Hey Dudu,

How long have you been playing Advance Wars for?
Does it continue to work later in the game?

I cant seem to get the method to work correctly, is this what you mean?

1.  Patch the Rom with NDSPatch Tool
2.  Copy and Rename a GBA.Sav file to be Game Name.Sav
3.  Power Cycle and use Saver Menu to save file?

I do this, but I cant seem to retain my save?

Any Ideas?  Under the Options menu it is set to "Auto Load Saver"

Played a little to reach the 1st save point, saved...

made the QPC ... saved on .sav file.

turn off DS for a couple of minuts ... Load another rom ( Zookeeper ) to make sure Castlevania is not more in SC RAM...

then i Load Castlevania and the save was there =]

I do all what you explain but doesn't work The game save have gone. I try to load my friend save game and it went well I can play game from his save point but when I use QPC to save the game ... The save have gone again, I have the new profile when I start game next time.

Everyone have any Idea to solve my problem? Please..

I use ndspatch.exe to patch the game rom. I use SuperCard sd version. I boot my NDS with Flashme or Passme and I got result as explain.
