You got it right; it's entitled "Kung Fu" on the NES and "Kung Fu Master" in the arcades, I believe.

1943,CastleVania 1-3, Dragoon X Omega II (a bad ass hack), Final Fantasy ++ and ++ World of Choas (a two part hack that lets you reuse your first game's save), G.I.Joe 1-2, Jackal, Life Force, Marble Madness, Megaman 1-6(3 is the best), Metroid Special Edition (hack), Mighty Final Fight, Ninja Turtles 1-4, Rampage, Strider, Super Mario Bros 1-3, Tecmo Bowl and Super Bowl, Tetris, Zelda 1-2(ton of great hacks of these games to list), and Pokemon Brown for gbc.

gradius 2 is worth noting aswell. although it was only released in japan there isn't a language barrier and it was an improvement.
