Hey Im bout 4 hours into TP and in the forest temple because I cant get the boss key.  I have the boomerange and I hit those four windmills but the gates just shake.  Am i missing something?

You have to hit them all in one go.  You lock onto them by hitting the button on the bottom of the nunchuck.  Anyway, you lock onto all four, and let it rip.  May take several tries, but it works.  I got stuck on it for 5 minutes trying them in different orders.  Hopefully, it won't take you that long after you lock on to them.  They should have explained how to use the boomerang better.
