OK i have searched for awhile to answer this and i tired of it.
here is wat i have.

supercard Lite
superKey
1gig micro sd Ultra II
ds lite

i load a rom onto the sd card. and it plays great really quick. i will use my problem with mario kart for this.
I finsh a cup and have won, how do i save it. every time i turn the gameboy off it loses my data. and when i try to conver the rom to put on my micro sd. it says the following about saves

how the hell do i get it to say yes to save.

Nintendo DS games save like they would on the real cartridge... On the program ALL NDS games say "No" for save, and they're supposed to.

When you say you turn off your 'gameboy' did you mean your DS or are you really using a gameboy?

Gleasonator: right so if they save normaly how come when i go to play mario kart again there is no game data ? it like u play it and u finsh the cups and then it loses your data even your wifi settings are gone.

is there anything i should do before i add roms to my micro sd card. i formatted in fat and then i mad sure the files are not read only but still not holding game data.

Does the .sav file have the same name as the .dsq file?  E.g. Mario Kart.dsq and Mario Kart.sav

Also i disabled realtime saving thinking this was the problem but still not working.

Are you playing Mario Kart DS or the GBA Mario Kart?  Because the realtime save option is only available when you patch GBA games but the picture you posted is Mario Kart DS so now I'm confused...

Rorix_bladewing5 : i am playing mario kart ds, i disabled the real time save because i was reading something about saying that if u have that on that will not allow to save in ds games. but that didnt fix it. i got it from the following post  http://www.scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7577&highlight=save

but now my ds console just goes white when i load that rom.

i am starting to get the shits.

Hi Rorix_bladewing5: i just updated my firmware to v1.7 i was running 1.43 i will see if this fixes my problem.

I think he was using the new patching software. Interesting that the game runs. (and doesn't save.)
