I have a Kingston 1gb mSD card and the access times are pleasingly low inside my Supercard lite. I'm looking to upgrade to a 2gb though, and I saw a good deal on SanDisk mSD cards.

Is there anyone with a SanDisk mSD card that can verify that it's fast enough for everything? And does anyone know any good deals for one? The deal I'm looking at now is for about $84 shipped.

Thanks :D

Get an A-Data card from newegg, its a trusted, cheap and fast brand.

I have a micro 1g sandisk ultra II and it is fast enough, also with my daughters SCSD she also has a sandisk ultra II 1 g with no issues.

ok...errr...when do you know when its "too slow". Im using Kingston 1GB as well...no lag nothing...except the little wating time when loading from SuperCard's Menu if the ROM size is big.

There will be lag and stuttering IN-game.

Try to get a S3+... I have one and never had problems even running Castlevania intro without any issues.

I totally recommend it plus the price: 1GB microSD=U$57... and the manufacturer says it's faster than Ultra II from Sandisk. I haven't had the opportunity to compare them.

I'm thinking on uploading a video of my DSLite runninng that intro, when I do it I'll let you know.

I don't get lag whatsoever on my 1gb Kingston.

i have two different cards here using with sc lite.

transcend- works without lags, but slow when writing on pc.
readspeed is ok. i test it loading zelda-minish cap, takes 7,5secs to load.

takems (noname in germany)- works without lags, faster than transcend in writing. readspeed is 6,9 secs.

times are taken with a stopwatch :D
so, both cards work fine, with nds games aswell. there are some gba games that lag, when u turn on cheats, rts and more saver slots.

I have the following cards

kingmax 2 Gb 60X - 66X (R4)
sandisk 1 Gb 25X (SCDS)
Apacer 120X (M3 Simply)

all works without any problem, apart from transfer speed from PC to Micro SD
