ponpoko works for me as well but screen is sideways, is it that way for you. and the ponpokov works but shows lots of artifacts on screen.

Anyone know which MAME rom versions MarcaDS is compatible with?  0.34?  0.89?  0.110?

onekelly: Yeah ponpoko is sideways for me too but the controls are turned on it's side too so they correspond to the new orientation. I didn't get any artifacts though.

jewelie: I think it's an older version set, but you can still manipulate the rom files in the zip to match the ones required for the emulator.

Anyone get this to work on anything besides Supercard Lite, like CF for example?

onekelly you should try MarcaDS version 2.6 or 2.0 and see if all the games work for you.  I have not had any problems with the earlier 2.0 version.

Scootdog, I have gotten the roms i had working on my daughters SC SD.

I will try out the older versions and see what happens. I will post when i try it out (at work now).

I now have MarcaDS 3.0 working on my CF.  I took the marcads.nds file and put it in the root.  Named a folder marcads.  Put in the roms and nothing else.  Booted marcads.nds and success!

I have: arkanoid (uses stylus!), bagman, crush roller, eyes, hangly-man, jump shot, ladybug, le bagnard, lizard wizard, mario bros., mr do! (all 4), mr tnt, ms pac-man, pac-man (all 3), ping pong, puckman, yankee do!.  With screen shots!

These are the games I had working on the earlier versions.  I am pretty confident that once I get the correctly built roms that most games will work.  The only game I have not been able to get to work so far is bomb jack.

I've DonkeyKong zipped with nocompression in the marcads directory in the root and the marcads.nds in the root.

It should work without any roms in it. Make sure the marcads folder is spelled correctly as I spelled it wrong the first time. Also you should get to the roms regardless if any roms are in the folder as they will be just greyed out. Have you ran the marcas.nds through moonshell supercard patcher? You will most likely need to. It worked for me after that.

It is going to be a huge undertaking to get all of these roms zipped correctly for all the games.  Just searching for them in my 4000+ MAME roms folder is slow enough.  LOL

It is a shame that the dude put so many clones and different sets in there.  I kind of would like to have them all or maybe not because of the added space on the card for basically the same game.

Maybe some people who are interested and has some of these packaged correctly with screenshots  would like to share and get together and upload them somewhere.

Test the games you have working and post here.  Once we have them all we can pm each other some links to the files..
