2nd generation storage device (works on unflashed ds)
100% NDS rom support.
Clean rom. Drag and drop.
FAT32 format on MicroSD.
Under US$25.

No GBA function, no built in PDA. No release date yet.

There will be another product "M3 DS Real" later.

Competition is good. :)

Very nice. If it has no slowdowns and offers FATLib compatible drivers I might buy one, just because of the price and another MicroSD card I have lying around :)

Wonder if this means the Supercard team will come out with roughly the same thing for only $15-$20 :P
Setup: Onyx DS Lite, CycloDS + Kingston 8GB MicroSDHC; Camo GBA Micro, EZIV + Kingston 2GB MicroSD

Wow, sounds great. I'm not sure I believe that price tag though... we'll see. I'd be very impressed if it's correct.

I hope the built-in passme doesn't cause problems on flashed DSes (leaving the MML in my flashed DS stops it from booting anything)

Well... if it plays the new Castlevania, consider it purchased.

Nice to see a 'lite' memory pack at last... I wonder if it will allow booting of GBA titles from the slot-1 device, or if it's just for opera. Seems ridiculously cheap also. I've bought sandwiches that cost more than that!

Is this made by the M3 guys then? And what's with the "M3 DS Real" coming later? I don't wanna buy one thing then have something better released shortly afterward.

Yes.. Why is there a "simple" version coming out? What could possibly be left out?

sneef

supposedly the "real" version (coming out after the 'simple version') can support GBA files and has PDA function!  dunno if it's true about GBA

If that's true (which I highly doubt, but it is possible from a technical standpoint), I'm buying one no matter how much it costs.

by the way, the price was quoted from yyjoy and is the price in china RMB... it will cost more once you import it to the states/europe.

Hi

Hmmm... So how much do you think it will be in the USA?

probably around $30+  judging by the markup on supercard lite rumble..  (just my guess, not based on any real info)

I wonder if this will be like Acekard or DSLink, or will it be able to do download play like the DSX?

estebangh

I don't know why people worries so much about "download play" what we should really expect from this slot-1 solution is to simply run DS games without lags (100% compatibility) and to have a GBA-linkage function so you can use interface to boot GBA games from slot-2 and also to use it's built-in RAM to run application wich need it (i.e. Opera, Linux...).

Plus is very important to have a good price so you can save money to buy your memoy card because this memories won't drop their price as easly as flash carts. To suppress RAM from device is the key to low their prices you can prove this with SCRumble and M3Pro prices.
