I neglected to reformat my CF for quite a while (four weeks)

and now I'm getting this error

"not find the CF
Please turn off the GBA"

If I reformat my CF, will my Supercard still work?

Last time I checked, the files got WIPED on my CF

Then when it actually was working a tad, I got a list of games that had

castule.dsq

and when I loaded, it was only 64kb

SO... is my SUpercard still working an the problem was my CF reformatting negligence? or should I get a new card now...

I'll find out later at home, but I'm just asking here first.

When you format a card, the memory gets wiped. You need to backup the files on it, then format it, then write them back on.

i havnt formated my CF card in over a year so i cant see that causing your problem

DJ Zephyr

I mean, that the memory: all games and what not on my card got wiped, whilst I was playing... so I'm asking that if I format the CF again, put back the files, and load it, it will work... right?

DJ Zephyr

I found the problem... I need a new card... this one is starting to mess with me...

I had to push down on the CF to get the files to me read... so my current setup for the Supercard is the CF in with a tiny postit folded over about... 5 times shoved to give the impression that I'm pushing down on the CF so play a game...
