I find that quite a lot of Homebre apps cannot save to SC Rumble's microSD.

- Be Up, those settings like "remeber password" or my stats when first sign in aint being saved

- DS Organised. According to the site, SC uses Blue version, but i cant save all the memos, scribbling all that. On second run, the little cow appear and say "Initialising FAT, Trying SD Card" and never get into DS Organise

- Moonshell, the bookmark text feature dun work. I used the copy from the tutorial of this forum.

Why?

Devil_Spawn

in some of the old sclite patchers there was a moonshell patcher for supercard, try running some of the homebrew through these

cygig

it tot the moonshell patcher is for moonshell only?

onekelly

It is not only for moonshell. For example to get MarcaDS (mame-like emulator) to work you must patch it with moonshell patcher.

cygig

thanks dude! But ironically, moonshell itself has microSD support, it does not need patching rite?

onekelly

Yes, it does (haven't tried without it before, just did, and does, well it least loads as that is all i tested). The patcher does work and will help for other homebrew programs though.

DS Lite Onyx Black
Supercard Lite
Nintendo Wii (US)
PSP (Metal Gear PO Limited Edition)

Dsorganise, if you can get it to patch with moonshell patcher will work (replied by dragonminded to one of my post) otherwise for the SClite,  you are out of luck. the saving features to the sclite do not work well with last two versions due to changes from SC to SClite. read about on his forum.

i dint patch moonshell w the patcher, i simply select the "Supercard MicroSD" when i generate the files and directories. IT works, although at the startup screen it says an error was detected (but still it loads and works!)

it says that on any version, its only if it doesnt go away that it means there is a problem

This is stated in the moonshell tutorial as well.

BeUp and DS Organise work with moonshell patcher! Although there is an error message saying "SC not found" in DS, it did work, but still have some bugs i think.

What "it" are you referring to that does not go away?

What Devil_spawn is talking about is the error message that briefly appears when you start up moonshell on the supercard in the lower screen and then disappears. If the error does not go away, you then have a problem.
