Question about a a flashed DS and a passcard3/Superkey...

I always leave the passcard3 inside of my system (for sleep function) and I took the SC out of the DSLite the other day and turned it on only with the passcard in slot 1. Two white screens is all I get. Should this be? I am guessing so as I did flash the DS, but can anybody else confirm that this is the way it is supposed to react, as opposed to even seeing the passcard3 boot screen?

Now on to the next question. If it IS so that the passcard/superkey no longer boots on a flashed DS, will I encounter issues with these new slot 1 devices not booting because my DS is flashed and they contain passme code? Please say it ain't so....

I'm not sure about your passcard. Try holding SELECT during power up. You shouldn't need a passcard anymore if your DS is flashed. You can still use your passcard for sleep mode if you want.

All four of my DS's are flashed.  I can assure you that slot 1 cards have no problems working with a flashed DS.  Both my DSLink (requires flashme) and my DS-X (built in NoPass) work great.

This is good to know. I do not see the passcard anymore. Just white screens when it is inserted alone. Of course, if nothing is inserted into the slot 1, I can boot directly to the SC menu, and if the passcard is in with the SC inserted the sleep function works. This is a relatively new DS Lite, and I could have sworn that on my old Phat unit (also flashed) that the passcard still allowed booting...even tho it was flashed. I could be wrong. Not a big deal at all...all works well. But again, it is good the know that the slot 1 devices that DO include nopass code will work on flashed DS units!

EDIT: Just tried holding "select" while booting and I did see the passcard splash briefly. Thanks for that info!
