Hi, want your think about the DS, i have play StarWar Letal Alliance today with my SC, and that's another big shitty game, one more...

There's maybe 10 cool games, all others 200 or 300 games are very shitty (for me 25 years old).

If Supercard had never exist to run emulators and moonshell to play movies & Mp3s, my DS been sold on ebay since along...

I hope the next zelda for DS will be coming fast...

I personally don't think that the Nintendo DS console sucks, because it is a great gaming console. However, I agree that quite a few NDS games are definitely not worth playing.

yeah, your poll is wrong, it sounds like you're unhappy with the games rather than the console.

i feel that the ds and its games are definetly aimed at a younger audience than, say, the psp. as a 22 year old, i find about half the games i've played to be quite good.

good games tend to be your typical nintendo games (nintendogs, mario kart, kirby, mario & luigi variants, etc). they tend to make good use of the touch screen feature, not to mention they look purdy.

bad games are largely ported games (worms, ridge racer, etc) and movie games (shrek - urgh!). a lot of them don't look very good, seemed rushed and not designed well or don't make good use of the touch sceen.

spliff: Yes, most of the DS games suck. But most PSP games suck. Most PS2 games suck. The way the video game industry is right now most of the games released for any system are terrible. That's why I have a Supercard. There's too much junk nowadays to just randomly buy games. So I wouldn't be so hard on the DS. There are a lot of good games out there.

Agreed, I'd say DS has more games I've played through than anything since SNES !

Nintendo seem to have experimented with it, and so do some other people. Trauma Center and Phoenix are good examples.

MK Ds is just the best since SNES :-) now if only it had online battlemode - still....

When I grow up and learn to program and start my own video game company inspired by nintendo... I WILL ONLY LICENSE GOOD GAMES!!! Maybe my consol will get a reputation for having a small library of games... at least it will have a reputation of having a library of ONLY GOOD GAMES!!!

That actually is my dream just to let you all know. :shock:

I will get the sequel. But i don't think I'll get the remake. I don't wanna play it again and even if I do, I'll just blow the dust off my PS1 and play it there.

the only real good games for me are:
Mario 64
Mario Kart
Metroid
Castlevania

few others seems cool but in fact funny for 5-10 minutes and fastly boring like:
Nintendogs
New Super Mario
Kirby
Monkey Ball
Project Rub
Trauma Center
etc...

and some others are very shitty like elf bowling...

The only difference is that you actually have to buy the games with the DS alone. If it rules with the SuperCard, then what you're saying is:

The DS is actually a good system with good software but it's not worth it unless I can pirate stuff.

What would you consider "hard-core" by the way? Boring basketball games? Either way, PlayStation games and XBox games are almost all available for a PC.
