For those who can't apply "saver" patch to some gb

Hey guys :),

I've been having trouble saving in some games like Yggdra Union and FFV Advance. When I loaded those games in the SC software, the "patch" section of those games said "Fail". Of course, once I played those games I would get an error when I tried to save through the games' menus.
I spent a couple of hours trying different settings on different games...but nothing worked. Then I stumbled on a nice little application called gbata. I saw some people on ther forums talk about using it to save on their flashcards, so I decided to give it a try.
It worked! Here's what I did to enable saving in those games where the saver patch wasn't working:

1) I downloaded gbata (http://www.gbadat.altervista.org/gbadat/tools/gbata7a-en.zip)
2) After extracting it, I launched the application
3) I patched the game with the SC software with save, saver, RTS and restart enabled
4) I loaded the game in gbata
5) In the SRAM Patcher tab, I clicked on "Patch"
6) Copied the files on my microSD card and played the game :)

I have yet to test it using QPC saving and the prefetch patch, but I assume it will work as well.
I hope this helps other users who can't save in some games!

So, let me ask you just to be sure XD
This doesn't allow to save as if it was a real cart, but it enables saving in games that do not pass the "Save" column (it shows it as "Fail"), doesn't it?

Yes, I've only had this problem with Yggdra Union since it saves using EEPROM, but it could happen with other games I haven't tested yet :p
You still have to use the L+R+select+A combination after saving.
