The guru's at WiiLi have created a windows driver that will allow u to use the Wiimote on a PC as a mouse. It looks very cool. You will need a bluetooth adapter if you don't have bluetooth in your pc.

Here is a link for more info and to get the software: http://www.wiili.org/forum/download-windows-driver-here-t294.html

Here is a short little video showing it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_ytdW6Ys2A

That's awsome! One step closer to Wii emulation..

We should probably bring GC emulation up to date first though :P

Played around with this tonight and man it kicks ass. They have implemented the IR sensor part now which means it works by simply pointing at an ir source (i used my lamp) and your mouse moves that way (just like the Wii menu hand). They have also added support for the nun-chuck and classic controller. Also the newest version is here with MANY scripts pre-made for you so you can play stuff like half life ect with the Wiimote: http://carl.kenner.googlepages.com/glovepie_download

I might have to get a bluetooth receiver just for this. Though I don't play a lot of games on PC anymore so it may be a waste outside of the "cool" factor.

I have a media center pc in my living room and trying to use a mouse on my couch sucks, this is will come in VERY handy for the media center pc.

Found mine about 3yrs ago from CompUSA. Mine is one of those USB blue tooth adapters. They start at like $9 bucks now days: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Order=PRICE&Page=1&Nty=1&N=0&Submit=ENE&Description=blue+tooth&Ntk=all

9 bucks for a short range class 1, but I just bought a $40 class 2.... and now I can use a Wii remote with it from like 500 feet away! Now if only I had a Wii remote...

So are we going to avoid the dumb-ass thread about this being fake? Those people on YouTube need some help.

Anyway, this looks cute, but pretty useless. It looks to me like he turned MouseKeys on and made the Wiimote driver send numpad keys. Oh, well. It's a start. :)

^ That's pretty much it. But the cool thing is that you can extract and inject Miis with it.

Asus, D-Link, Linksys or other brand would you recommend? I'm probably going to go with a 2.0 Class 2 unit since that's the most up-to-date and doesn't seem all that expensive for it.

I got a Belkin... look at reviews, it's a 4-5 star product almost everywhere.

That being said, though, most adapters are the same. Just the range is different.

Yea i saw one that stated 100m(eter) range which i find hard to believe. I'll probably go with either Belkin or Asus.

This is really cool, I'll have to get my friend to bring his Wiimote round to my house.
