Today i turn on my DS and sound out that my superkey doesn't work anymore. Times ago i had problems with the sleep mode, now the Supercard menu doesn't boot. I only play GBA games... i've tried cleaning it, but nothing... any suggestions?

update page2.

If you only play gba games you dont need the superkey.

Try shaking the SuperKey or rubbing the gold contacts gently with an eraser.

i don't know how but i solved it.
I first tried cleaning it with an eraser, but it didn't work.
Then i... umm... how can i say it? I made superkey "bigger" inserting one piece of paper behind her... like putting contacts closely...  :|

Yes. I advise flashing your DS while ur superkey is still on the verge of working.

Hi

I agree, it sounds like your superkey might be dying. Flashing you ds is the safest thing to do.

If your Superkey does not show any wear, I am more inclined to believe it is your DS slot itself. Perhaps the contacts inside the slot are worn or bent. When you are putting that piece of paper in, you are pressing the Superkey contacts closer to the slot1 connection. Try your Superkey on another DS and see if it works fine. AND, if it IS your DS, return it if still under warranty. If not, flash it immediately.

amn.. i tried my superkey in another DS and worked... while my friend's superkey doesn't work in my lite... what do i do now? I've never flashed a DS... and talking of warranty, it is sitll under that, but i don't kthink nintendo will change my DS  :|

It never hurts to try, and try you must, cause it sounds like slot-1 is busted.

Is your ds a phat or a lite? If it's a phat you can flash that even with your eyes closed lol.

it's a DS Lite... i've watched the video on youtube, but i live in italy so it's not so easy to find a superpass... it is even harder to find someone who can flash a DSL... maybe i should send it to nintendo, but as i said before i don't know how to justify it...
