Best gaming gifts for 06

In your guys' opionion whats the best thing to give for Christmas 06?
Personaly I'd have to say nothing spreads the Christmas cheer like giving people the new Castlvania Portrait of Ruin, but thats me.

id say a nintendo wii, especially for those families that spend alot of time together and dont like their kids playing too many video games cuz with this they can all play together and have fun

Gamingwise, a Wii it's a cool gift... if you preordered it two months ago >.<' I went to my local GAME (european gaming store, pretty known in UK and Spain), and they were still trying to get some Wii to fill preorders from late October... Maybe, a GBA Micro (�,�50) too, if getting a Wii is too much of a hassle.
If it's not for gaming, something like an iPod Shuffle (�,�50) is always a good idea, unless they already have an mp3 player :p

Since I've gotten everything I want before Christmas (The Wii, Twilight Princess, and a cell phone), I'm hoping to get some retro consoles and games. I've been craving to play Super Nintendo. Wii Points would be a good gift, also. I've been missing Pokemon Silver for the GBC, too. One with a working clock =]]

Wii would be a good gift. A supercard (or the equivalent to whatever system the family has) would also be a good choice. If you want something more legal and they have a Wii, a Wii points card would definitely be nice.

Heeey! I have about the same thing.

Got it from GameStop (I'm in Texas) for about $15. I guess mines either older than the one you posted, sinkhead, or it's different in UK and America.

There were two types in GameStation. There was the leather one (like I got) that had a chain, and there was that one. I had a hard time choosing which to buy, but then I got the leather one.

As for best gaming gift, besides the Wii, Twilight Princess for GameCube (assuming you have a GameCube) would be next, if the Wii hadn't come out yet.
