Ohh BABY!! :shock: When I first read about this movie being made about a year ago I was excited but for some reason expected a more "corny" type of film where they tried to throw in humor, but holy shit, it looks like they went in the right direction and made it a darker, huge epic type film. Move over Spiderman, this movie will rule in 2007!

... why does everything cool must happen at the US? I mean... I'd like to see huge robots fighting around Barcelona or Madrid, aliens fighting with the british army or a deadly bacteria eating Italy up T-T

Actually, I think Japan sees more action than the US what with the weekly Godzilla attacks and all.

My childhood destroyed... Those don't look like transformers. They are Terminators that transform into cars... I was excited when this was first announced, but the closer it gets to release and the more trailers they do, the more I cringe.

It may end up being a good movie... but I don't think you can really call it transformers. It's like a licensed movie game... They just take plot points and characters and mix it together and who cares if it makes any sense in the context of the original characters.

That series actually got me back into Transformers, it was great, well written! Not much into the new autobots series on cartoon network though.

The series currently being shown on cartoon network were made in Japan without real care for the original transformers plot. In fact, I'm not sure if Japan ever got the original transformers series.

Beast Wars did a great job of connecting to the original series stories. I hadn't realized it when I first started watching it, but all the connections eventually made were great. CGI sure has advanced a lot though since that first started airing.
