Hey guys, I just thought it was a good time to show off my DS.
It is spraypainted a glossy black, and I sanded the top of the DS to make it smooth and not have 3 edges like a normal one.

What do you think?
Pretty awesome, huh? I actually did this ~4 months ago, and decided to make pictures to inspire other people if they were thinking about it.

Any comments?

It is not sticky :lol: Its fine

WOW! I love it. Specially how the A/B buttons are different from the Y/X ones. Could you take some close up pics? I'd like to see it better, it's pretty tiny right now

Could've also gone with flat black, and a couple coats of clear coat spraypaint, for added class. Good to see the gen 1 ds owners are still enthusiastic about their little machine.

I like the diffrent colored buttons and the sanded down top looks great.

i think the buttons are different colours as standard
mine are anyway

What do you guys mean by different colored buttons?  the X,Y were always different color on the ds phats.  What happend to the backlight and power led on this picture http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g238/Thundrestrike/IMGP0268.gif ?  did you edit it or something? becuase I can see nintendoDS on the top screen and the health and safty thing on bottom.

they are regular color, i didn't change them

I didn't edit it out, there is a backlight and power LED, it just didn't show up because of the angle of the way i took the picture
