is there a way to get my SC sd saves to work on SC DS?

It would be nice to not have to start over.
I tried creating a sav with the SC DS and then naming my SCsd sav the same.
And then before I copy it to micro sd card I start a different game so when I put the renamed SCsd sav on it doesn't get overwritten when SCDS is turned on.  But the game wouldn't even start when I tried the renamed SCsd sav

EDIT : Just have to make sure that .nds is taken off of the .sav file when going to use on SCDS.
Make sure that hide known extensions is off in the folders tools folder options view tab.
And make sure to get rid of .nds on the save file because with my scsd in generated the .nds on the sav file.  "Yoshi.nds.sav"
                                                  "Yoshi.nds.dsq"

I'm trying to do the same.  Anyone have any ideas?

You just copy your old saves to your microSD and they should work if the have the exact same name as they game.

How can that work when the DSOne SAV files have truncated (short) names that start with a ~ (tilde) & end with .sav?  The Old SuperCard save files end with .nds.sav.  I don't think you are correct on this one.

The automatically generated ones use short names but the scone will also use save files with the full length name. I migrated a mixture of saves from a dslink, sclite and a ez4, all have long names and work fine.

No, seriously, I told you that because, well, I just did it a couple hours ago, hehehe.

Well, thank you for being correct also!  I'll let you know if it works when I get home later.

OK.  It works with the exception of a few games:  Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64 DS, Contact & Tamagotchi Connection Corner Shop.  All of these have different SAV file sizes.

All of the SAV files were games patched & played on the SC SD.  They were renamed to match the title on the DSOne but I left the .nds.sav & long file name on it.  All of the ROMS on the DSOne are RAW ROM files dragged & dropped on the micro SD.

BUT, some of the heavy hitters DID work:  New Super Mario Bros., Phoenix Wright, Big Brain Academy, Brain Age, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, Tony Hawk Sk8land & Trauma Center.

COOLNESS.  Now all we need is the damn error screen on boot removed & Animal Crossin at normal speed!  We're SO CLOSE!

Sorry to go OT here, but is touch detective any good?  I was kind of put off by the tutorial.  Kind of, VERY put off.  The reviews are mixed, but I have eccentric likes and dislikes.

If you like comic - like graphics & 'point & click' adventures, you will like Touch Detective.  It's good.
