Hi, first time posting here, and I just finally got two flash carts. I got a Supercard for my gf and an EZF4 Lite Deluxe for myself, anyways I'm having problems with the Supercard. It's a MiniSD model. I got GBA games, DS games and DS Organize working as far as I know, but problems arise when I try to skin or getting Moonshell working on it.
When I do the skinning, I get stuck at the firmware dumper. Right now the firmware is 1.63. I don't want to upgrade firmware because of hearing that GBA doesn't work with 1.70. Anyways, I use the scdumper that came packaged with the download from the skinning guide, and I wait till it says "files released." I turn it off stick it into my reader, and it says the disk is corrupt. I tried with two other card readers as well. I figured I'll figure it out later and move on.
I finally get around to trying Moonshell. I install it, I run it, I get an error while it's accessing the disk, and it lists some possibilities of why it could happen, deleting the shell folder, resume is on for a nonsupported format, etc etc. So I turn off the DS take the card out and stick it in the card readers, and it's corrupted again, I guess that's suppose to happen since it asks to reformat. The Moonshell version I used were a prepackaged version, not sure what ver it was, and I tried installing a new v 1.5 Moonshell, both didn't work. Also tried doing what it suggested, none of them worked for me.
So I've come to the conclusion is my MiniSD, its probably way to slow, but it's the only one I can use right now; 45x 2 gig Transcend. Games still run smooth while I use this card though. I was following guides doing all this stuff and also using Fifthelement's guide for Supercards.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have practically the same everything you have, Supercard MiniSD, a Sandisk 2gb Mini SD and a DS Lite with Flashme Stealth v7.  So you are saying the old versions don't work either?  The old versions of moonshell never caused a problem for me.  But the new one has the same problem.  Basically I ignore it, just click start and it works.

O and by the way, upgrade to Supercard Mini SD 1.70, it is better.  GBA still works with it.

Hmmm... I'll try that out with 1.7 then. I just read a few threads about GBA dying or something, something dealing with QPC which I have no clue what that stands for. As for Moonshell I guess the old version doesn't work. I can't even click start or anything when the error from moonshell comes up. Is there any reasons my MiniSD is corrupted just from that error?

QPC dies if you upgrade?!  Well if it does, you can always downgrade.

Alright I just tried it out, my GBA games work fine.  If you run in to trouble, try using an older patcher for GBA games.

I'll give it another try when I get the Supercard to tinker with again. I gave it to my gf tonight, probably get it back in a few days to mess with it more. Thanks for the help though. I know it would bug me if I didn't find a possible solution to my troubles. Thanks again.
BTW this is the thread where I read some stuff about 1.7.
