With all the new cartridges coming out, and my increased budget, it's looking like I might experiment with my first non-supercard products...  But it would sure be a pain to have to start over on all my games.  Is there a way to convert Supercard saves into EZ-Flash saves?  Is any conversion even necessary?  I don't know how that sort of thing works yet.

Thanks

It can be changed in a hex-editor... and that's all I know. But there ARE save converters out there. I'm not sure if there is one specific to your situation, but save converters do exist.

I don't think that any saves from one company to another are compatible, but there's probably a few exceptions. As far as SC and EZF go, don't expect them to work together without a conversion.

Afaik SC saves are the 'standard' saves. DS-Xtreme uses the same 256KiB files, but compresses them in a .gz file and adds a header. G6 uses the same format as SC. Dunno about M3/EZ, but I'm sure SC saves will be convertable.

Yeah, I was thinking about it and that probably makes the most sense jelbo.  Why would it be beneficial for a supercard to convert save files into some proprietary format, rather than just taking the game's output and putting it directly into the file?

...but then, why would there be converters.  Hmm...  I guess I'll look around.
