DsHeretic used to just hang on my DS SC(cf)

After several weeks of pulling my hair out trying different wads and test versions I found out how to get it working

Switch the DS to automatic startup

To do this

1) Boot into the DS menu.

2) Click the little DS at the bottom of the screen

3) Click the spanner icon

4) Choose the top option

5) Set to auto and reboot

I've tested in manual mode and auto and it only works in auto

Hmm...

This didn't solve my problem, and I tried it with and without the music.

Is there some other trick that must be done to get it to work that maybe I overlooked?

I took a little while to set this up and I put in the shareware WAD. It works fine with music and not for me. The only thing is, the frame rate isn't agreeable enough for me. Maybe the game has always been like this, in fact I'm sure it probably was (it's been years since I tried to play it on PC, but I think I remember a similar feel). I guess I'm just too spoiled to play games using a slow ray-casting engine anymore ^_^

Got it on my ds right now it say's couln't find wad

what do i have to do i got the original wad file :S

i converted it with and with out music i put it on the sc and at both version with and without music it say's could not find wad.

cory1492

As with Lost in Blue, I can only get the 0.3 to run with PassMe in, or it hangs and dies...

Cyprien, you need to make sure the wad is in the same dir as the base .nds files (along with unzipped tools directory for GBFS), and that the wad is named exactly what it says in the readme "HERETIC.WAD" or else it will not be there to find in the created ROM (check to be sure you didnt misname the wad file, as that is the likely cause of wad not found).

ivé got : dsHeretic.ds.gba , HERETIC.WAD, hereticfs.wad

what to put on sc :P

and is is possible to add diffrent wads? like doom and so ? or do you have to reprogram it again for diffrent games couse i would be hoping OULAWS would be able to play on my ds :P Outlaws is from lucasarts 3d westren shooter runs in dos same like heretic.
