is their a way to load a supercard CF save onto a supercard LITE rumble

i did this but experianced massive slowdown

is their anyway to do this w/o the slowdown?

sneef

the saves are the same.  transferring a .sav file should never affect gameplay.  Are you sure you patched the game with the Lite Rumble patcher?

Altor

I've used saves from my CF on my MicroSD, no problems.

sneef

i already told him that the saves are the same.  I was asking him if the game was patched with the rumble patcher, because if it's patched with some supercard SD/miniSD patcher, it may work with major slowdown

chaseincats

i used the correct patcher

not only because it has the rumble option on it but also because when i converted it and used the save that it gave me it was up to speed

EDIT: I got it to work I read on the supercard site that checking DRM or whatever improves load times...aparntly it doesnt

Is there any way to get these saves working on the DSONE with the ROMs that are NOT patched?  Is there a way to convert them?

Altor

Haven't used teh DS1, I would guess that it uses a similar system to EZV - basically, run all your games once, then copy the saves over.  Can't say for sure it'll work, but it should.  The SC team makes blunders from time to time, but they wouldn't screw over all their customers by not letting them use their save files.

OK.  I got the SCSD SAV files to work on the DSOne:

OK. It works with the exception of a few games: Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64 DS, Contact & Tamagotchi Connection Corner Shop. All of these have different SAV file sizes.

All of the SAV files were games patched & played on the SC SD. They were renamed to match the title on the DSOne but I left the .nds.sav & long file name on it. All of the ROMS on the DSOne are RAW ROM files dragged & dropped on the micro SD.

BUT, some of the heavy hitters DID work: New Super Mario Bros., Phoenix Wright, Big Brain Academy, Brain Age, Animal Crossing, Star Fox, Tony Hawk Sk8land & Trauma Center.

COOLNESS. Now all we need is the damn error screen on boot removed & Animal Crossin at normal speed! We're SO CLOSE!

It works with the new EOS as well. Change it to Filename.sav. You don't need the .nds in there. ...Strange, but pokesav doesn't work right. >:(
