Ok, so my games NEVER saved, so I tried updating my firmware to 1.7 with the:
Supercard Rumble
SCRumble 1.7 / 2.57
download.

I put the UPGRADE.scu into the MiniSD, and put it into my Supercard Rumble MiniSD, and I turned it on.  When it turned on, there was nothing but white on both screens.  I even took it off of the card, but it still is white.  What is wrong?  How can I fix this?  I just wanted to make it so I can have my games actually save instead of starting over every time I turn the DS on.

I have a Supercard MiniSD Rumble with a Superkey.

Does anyone know how to fix this, and succesfully update it so I can play and have my games save?  Also, what settings should I put it to for the rumble on a normal DS?  I am new to this, as I just got it today.  =X

All help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Mr. Waffles

Can someone please help me?  I read the FAQ, but the only thing about 2 white screens is that my card is too slow.  But I don't have anything even on my flash card.  It goes blank from startup.  I can't even see the menu or go into Self Test Mode.  It just goes into 2 white screens when I turn on the DS.  It doesn't take me to the menu or anything.

YES!  I fixed it!  I downloaded a UPGRADE.scu for 1.63, put it in, and it worked saying wrong version, so then I put in my UPGRADE.scu for the Rumble upgrade to 1.70, and it worked.

Since I updated to 1.70, should my games save now instead of not saving ever, at all?

I don't think the firmware version has anything to do with your games not saving.  I am sure this is user error, meaning, you must have did something wrong.  Make sure you are also copying over the save portion of the files which are called, xxxx.sav.  Hope this helps.  As always, make sure you are understanding everything that is involved with flashing or else you will brick your system and end up with a nice DS paperweight.  Go read more FAQs if you are having trouble.

For some reason, it WAS the firmware that was making it not save lol.  Once I updated to 1.70, it worked perfectly.  And I used a Superkey, because I didn't want to take the chance of Bricking it.  Lol.

Does anyone know what settings I should use to get the most out of my games when I'm patching them with the "Super Card V2.57 for SD RUMBLE PRO Version" patcher?

To get the most out of your games, I would go with the normal settings, for example:

restart - Y
trim rom - Y
faster gameplay - Y
cart access high - Y

In the DS compatibility forum, most games are listed, well at least the newer ones. Also check out the Dualscene's SC compatibility list. It has all the settings that work for each game (which are basically the ones i gave you above).

glad you got it working!
