Also... is there an official website for this product/company for updates and patches... like the DSLink has?

EZ-Flash has a web site here: http://www.ezflash.cn/  (at this moment, it appears to be overloaded with traffic, but it definitely works most of the time)

They've already released two patches for the V, one on the 21st, another on the 26th.

I haven't received mine yet, but I pre-ordered it very soon after it was first posted on gameyeaaah.

Their website is available in both chinese and engrish.

gamesphere.. YES.  you mean nobody answered your question?

yes, the save games are standard 256kb saves.  they are interchangeable.  just stick it in the same directory as the rom, and the SCDS will pick it up.
