I clicked on the Wii Shop Channel button (After loading the updates and setting up the network) and now its been stuck at 'Connecting, Please Wait' for about 10 minutes now!!!! How long am i supposed to wait??? how long should it take!!! Anyone else had this?

Help please. I wanna get VCing!!!

Im sure they are being hammered considering they went through an additional 2 million units in Dec alone, im sure most of those were Christmas gifts and are just now trying to get online also.

good point. i just seem to remember someone somewhere asking, so i worried it was something i'd done. Weather works fine. So maybe it is just the Shop one...

anytime i connect it will take under 20 seconds to let me in.
So no problems here in holland.

Seems to be working now... I had to try my Nintendo wifi adapter, and that worked perfect. then when i tried my router again, it seemed to be doing ok. maybe the router was getting stuck, or something. i dunno!

Anyways, ta for helping.

Some people who have connection issues, fixed them by changing the router to channel 1 or 11.

Sick Wario

yes most routers are shipped to operate on channel 6
change to 1 or 11 it might help. also set the QoS or priority setting in your router to handle Wii first

Wich one is better, 1 or 11? And what about the MTU setting on Wii? What should i set? I just managed to set up my D-Link DWL-G122 w/ a softap, so im a little bit confused

dont touch the mtu, i didnt, and look for other wireless networks in your area to find out if 1 or 11 is better, if there is another network on 1, use 11 etc

Shanks

Ok... Its working like a charm since i changed the channel to 1, just great. Thanks guys
