Does anyone have a ds one that works without any problems?  I see a lot of people that have faulty cards.  If it isn't the white screens of death, it is crashing every so often.

I had a faulty one, but it was replaced without any issues.

My new one works fine.  It's not the fastest performance, but it works fine.  Hopefully they'll iron out the speed issues later.

loader 1.1 helps a lot.

I sent my back for a replacement. About 95 percent of the games crashed or not run at all. Tried patching them and used clean dumps. One time I got mirco card not inserted.

I was using a sandisk ultra II 1 gb.

Hopefully the replacement works better.

mine works fine, but I was not satisfied with performance on ACWW/Doubutsu no Mori compared to how my SCLite does it. I've posted plenty about this. It's only that one game, and the SCDS plays it 'ok' but the SCLite plays it better than that. On some other games, the SCDS is better than the SCLite. But the ACWW/Doubutsu thing is important in my house ... my wife lives for that game.

I know what you mean!  it's my "make it or break it" title too.

I am tempted to sell off the SCDS, but i put so much effort into getting the replacement from hopebuy, and I can't part with it. hoping it will mature into a better product.  I have EZV for now, and it runs Doubutsu no Mori 100% speed!

For something that has been out what 2 weeks, it's amazingly mature.   Out of 800 games, it already runs what 99.7% perfectly?

what doesnt work? I've yet to get a game that white screens. my only prob is a bit of lag with some games (but then again i'm using a no name 256 TF for testing purposes, my kingston 1 gig works full speed as far as i can tell (havint had any problems with POR yet either so O.o)

I have just purchased another DS1, both work perfectly
1 is in a fat
1 is in a lite
So what games don't work then? all the game I have tried are fine.
Using 2 512MB OEM Toshiba cards autoset to x30

Mine works, no hitches, but I don't play Animal Crossing.
Opera Browser has some artifacts and PoR crashed only once (it crashed a lot more before with my SCL-R)

Using a Kingston 1GB
I have not tried my plain Sandisk 1GB yet.

Hi all, first post but i thought i'd jump on this topic. Recently bought a ds-one for my lite from games4play. Using it with just a bog standard sandisk cellphone transflash 1gb. I must admit, on first try, i was getting a lot of white and black screens. so i repeatedly reformatted and even tried the updated firmware sarah posted. But after all that i went back to the original firmware, and downloaded the supermode rom converter, and now everything ive tried works 100% fine! FF3, EBA, etc.......

very happy with my purchase! This is my first ds and my first pop at running roms etc, and i must say the ds-one has made it a treat.

I have one and it works wonderfully. All the games i have tested  have worked so far.

I had seen reports about different colored pcb (printed circuit board), mine is red colored and flawless, while reports of some with green pcb are having problem.

Check by flipping over and the see the color of the board next to the connectors strips.
