Bump for important info added in start post. My new informant (xD) also says this:

Don't think the pull the plug, the just drop it

We all now M3 is working on there M3 DS Real (M3 Slot1) and G6 slot1 cards
As soon as the start selling it, the probably will drop support for it and we all rely on R4 for updates (we all know M3 gets the cards from R4)

I read over at GBAtemp that they were atlering the R4 so you could not change it to the M3.

"R4 is working on a revision on R4's shipped after January 20, according to someone who wants to remain anonymous. Apparently they want to make the R4<->M3S soldering mod to be impossible."

I could see them wanting to do that. Especially if they are trying to make a name for themselves, they don't want to be forever linked to M3. Honestly, it doesn't bother me too much... I never planned on performing said mod to my R4 when it comes in (saturday~ Hooray) anyways.
