What do you recommend?

Any Toshiba card (aka Kingston Japan)

My standard sandisk is fine.  Maybe you just need to defrag?  I have a 1 gig sandisk, that should be very slightly slower than your 512 even.

try the patch found in the DS compatibility forum ;)  it may help
360 iXtreme 1.5 E74

Hmm but its a clean card. Just freshly formatted and I just copied the rom and the OS over. Theres nothing else on it.

Hey I just got my SCDS from RHS with the 1gig Sandisk package they sell.
I load the SCDS OS and the PoR clean rom on and just pulled the .sav from my SCLite microSD.
It loaded the game fine, BUT there was crash when I push pause a bunch of times.

I go back to the main SCDS menu, on the dropdown menu I saw under the "Other" menu an "AUTO set SD Speed" function.
In it, it mention that Akumajou Dracula (the JP version of PoR) needs the speed of 25 to run.  But doing auto set would put it to 5.
So I hit the "Option" menu, it has a manual "SD Speed" set option, I click other and bumped it up to 25.
Now when I run PoR it worked smoothly, no crash when I push pause randomly, when I pick up items, when I use D-pad on the warp areas, I did this for about 10mins pausing after different situations where I had crashed previously on SCLite.

For now I am a happy camper!

hmm... well I finally crashed it and it happens more often now... *cries ; ;

I also noticed that setting the speed to 25 does not save, so even if it worked it would be kind of annoying to have to keep setting it...

Maybe it will fix in next firmware?? I can wait...

Right now it still doesn't seem any setting will 100% remove the chance for glitches, so just live with it.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

sarah

no glitches with a fast card
