I havent tried it on Supercard DS, but to make sure, you used the Supercard DS dldi patch not the M3 Simply one right? Just making sure.

Here's something odd. I had the SC Lite in while testing it on the DS-Link. It went through the process of trying to find a driver, and when it hit the SC driver it locked up on the dancing cow. Afterward, I found the microSD card in the SC Lite was corrupt. It must have scanned slot2 even tho it was initially loaded on the DS-Link. So, word of advice NOT to do this :)

I've tried both patched and unpatched versions for the SCCF and neither worked.

It worked beautifully on my SC Lite ... until I turned my DS off.  My microSD card's FAT was corrupted afterwards.  (I backed-up before I tried it)  :)

Hope there's a fix for this soon.  I REALLY like and want to use it.

I just ran into a similar problem. I got the dancing cow, it said it was initializing for SC, it took too long (and the cow froze up, or stopped dancing), and I turned it off. Started up SuperCard again, and found my card had become unformatted.

It's all good though, after lots of experience with running different homebrew programs, I knew enough to make a backup first.

Should I have waited for it to finish initializing?

Running a SCLR, with 1.7 firmware. Just an Advance Wars DS in slot-1.

I'm also running 1.7 firmware.  I did get the dancing cow on a grey screen, then it tried to initialize ninjaSD, and finally recognized supercard.
I'm running the DSOrganize.sc.nds file on a 1GB Kingston micro. *Shrug*

jdtsm22 at moddz.com just posted an extremely circuitious method to get V.2.4beta working w/ an SCLite.  I'll just paste in the rest  :)

Download the files.
- Take the DSOrganize.nds file and patch it with Chishm's DLDI program:
http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/index.html
- Load the patched DSOrganize.nds file, along with the DSOrganize folder onto the root of your memory card.
- Run DSOrganize.nds from within moonshell.

You should be good to go.  I would image this would also work for other flash carts (including Slot-1).  Just patch the DSOrganize.nds file with the DLDI driver for your card.

This works.
Im hoping that soon it won't be neccessary.

I just patched it for use with the DSLink. Tested and working! Enjoy!

EDIT: Dragonminded updated to v2.4.1, and I patched the new version for the DSLink.

Just to add, I tried the SCSD DLDI from Chism's site as well as the DLDI from the latest Moonshell which I *know* works on the SC Lite, and I still cannot get it to work on the SC Lite. Oh well...at least it is working perfectly on my DS-Link. I'm really enjoying this update. Thanks again Dragonminded!

EDIT: I did not try to load the patched SC Lite file from within moonshell (which was spoken of above). It probably works that way, but I think I'd rather run it straight up from my DS-Link anyway :) The SC Lite is fast becoming simply a memory expansion for me....just have to get this baby unpatched...

A new post and minor release, here is the info from his blog

Quote from: "dragonminded's blog"Minor Update Out

Roger pointed out to me in #dsorganize today that when switching to German, the browser stopped functioning correctly. Well, after 5 hours of tracking this new damn bug, I finally found it in a puny function that draws the home button. In the process, however, I discovered a major flaw in loading the IRC and config ini files. I have put this update out to correct the flaw and to add support for a few more card types. Head over to the FAQ to see how to get your particular card working.

For those of you who want DSOrganize as your shell, it IS possible to also patch the exec_stub.bin file to allow DSOrganize to properly boot your files. Head over to the FAQ (again) to check out the instructions.

2.4.1 works on a supercard cf.  But can someone tell me how to get the plugin to work that's on Dragonmided's page.  (The wonderswan plugin.)  I must be doing something wrong.

Thanx.

machaut

2.4.1 no longer corrupts the FAT on my microSD (SC Lite), but it won't write to  it at all.

jelbo

2.4 and 2.4.1 both run great on my SC Lite Rumble. File operations give no problems and saving scribbles finally works! I do have troubles running .nds'es from the browser, after patching that exec_stub.bin with dlditool as can be read in the FAQ. The CRC32 of the patched file is EABF43DC, but it still hangs after trying to run .nds'es.
