I'm just way to tired now to test (off to sleep for another grueling day in retail), but I just patched DSFTP for the DS-Link as the DLDI interface was just recently included. Anyone with a DS-Link wanna give it a shot and let me know if it is functional? (should be)

Thanks.

Cool! I really love the DLDI interface patching. This means that EVERY homebrew that incorporates DLDI (everyone will eventually) will work on the DSLink and other cards in which a working DLDI driver is available. This is the best thing since...well...homebrew on the DS. Chishm is a genius.

I also patched NitroTracker for the DSLink (attached). Can't wait till scummvm incorporates DLDI.

Finally got some time to test my stuff today. Both apps here work GREAT! DSFTP really rocks. Cool to ftp into my DS Lite :) Nitrotracker reminds me of the good old Amiga days...composing tunes :)

Yeah, the DSLink is working out GREAT for homebrew now. Of course, many other cards are capable of the homebrew being patched to allow them to work as well, but as you may have guessed I am a pretty big fan of this device :) It is one of the few "grey market" devices I have ever owned in which I have had ZERO problems with. It is a solid device for sure.

That being said, I think I will just use this thread to continue to attach homebrew patched DSLink applications...providing nobody has any qualms with that. Patching is brainless (I used more brainpower ripping unreleased Gizmondo games not too long ago!) but I can see that there may be some that do not know how to do it....or just cannot be bothered. For those, keep an eye on this thread for more patched DSLink homebrew goodness :)

Here's SNEmulDS (SNES Emulator) and picodriveDS (Genesis emulator) patched for the DSLink:

I'm a big fan too!  It's currently my favorite slot 1 (least until my R4 gets here :) )

I really appreciate all the patching ... I can finally run some homebrew :)

Thanks for the kind words! Here is Nethack, the dungeon exploration game:

BTW: If you check usenet, an entire "NonGoodNDS" set has been uploaded, which consists of over 500 homebrew games and apps for the NDS. Seems the DSLink works great natively with the dozens of homebrew games I have thrown at it thus far...

Ohh, and even tho I posted DSOrganize patched for the DSLink in another thread, it might as well be here to keep everything in one location.

The nethack dslink port doesn't actually seem to work. It just freezes the dslink menu and one of the screens goes black.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll check it later when I come home from
work.

You are right, not working here either. Oh well...

Here is Txtwriter for the DSLink...tested and works :)

Real shame that, as nethackDS is my favourite homebrew. I helped with the bug testing a little, and made my own tileset... but it rarely gets played now as the SCSD support stopped working in stuart's releases and it doesn't support dldi for dslink etc.

Heres CrocoDS...an AmstradCPC emulator patched for the DSLink:

(Also, SNEmulDS has been updated to v0.3 and uploaded above)

I have to add that this is one of the NICEST emulators I have tried to date on the NDS. I just played First Star's "Boulder Dash" for almost an hour. Supports sound, screen re-size, and much more Fantastic!!

Hmmm..... Can't find it ... I got like 90 day retention ... can you send over a little something to help me find it easier?

Funny, I don't see it now. Then again, I was using Shemes usenet service when I got it, now just using Optimum Online. Maybe I'll re-up it to a group later as I did grab the whole thing (over 500MB)
