Hi, my Origional launch DS wont turn on.....yes, i broke it  lol

Anyway, i was changing the case and followed the instructions damn carefully! But, the change has left me with a paperweight! Both screens come on (aswell as the green light) followed by the top screen flickering, then the red light and then everything goes off!

Since ive tried for a while worth noe outcome, i wonder if anyone here has any idea what could be wrong?

i'd say the battery is dead, but that's too obvious.

check the ribbon cable connectors are clean and fully pushed in. there should be a while line on the pcb which should be aligned with the darker part of the connector.

dirty connectors or loose cable can cause all sorts of problems ranging from the ds turning itself off to faded images.

You're probably a bit scared but im just so happy, and it's all thanks to you! For about 7 months I have just had my ds in parts in a box because....the cable wasn't in all the way!!! I hate mayself, but i couldnt be happier!! Thank you again! And again! Youve made my birthday
