What happened to the topic that discussed how to dump a new firmware using the DSLink and a Supercard DS One?

It also talked about a new discovery on a noflash or unflash that bitblt and a new member kazumi213 had discovered?

It is now completely gone.

I was wondering the same damn thing! I was keeping track of it and last I saw someone made it where you didn't need the DS-Link anymore.

I was hoping that they would post a link to the noflashme file.

It's warez, so no link. BUT, it is quite easy to find with a quick google. It's a WRG release, and it works.

Odd that the topic is gone tho?

What is the actual file name? I have seen several now and want to make sure I get the right one. Or maybe someone can PM with the file. That's allowed.

Does the noflashme work 100%? I see this posted in the nfo and I looks like you have to short the SL1 bridge again?

QuoteBe careful when shortening the SL1. The original NDSL firmware  |
     |  you are going to flash HAS NOT the recovery feature of FlashMe  |
     |  firmware.                                                       |
     |                                                                  |
     |  After succesfully unflashing your NDSL, check the following     |
     |  (these are well known problems caused on Lites by the "original"|
     |  firmware in official noflashme.nds):                            |
     |                                                                  |
     |  - Entering "PictoChat" should NOT freeze your NDS Lite          |
     |  - Modifying any "Configuration Settings" on your NDSL should NOT|
     |   freeze the console.                                            |
     |                                                                  |
     |  Verify also the 4 brightness levels are available and finally,  |
     |  try to play                                                     |
     |  over Wi-Fi.

not on ds lites, when i noflashme'd i shorted my sl1 again.

moviecouple

So it works 100% on NDSL with none of the above mentioned possible problems? Those problems are only on the original NDS?

But you still have to short the NDSL SL1 bridge to use noflashme?

Mailyfesux

hmm. what file was that nfo for? apparently theres a new noflashme lite

Mailyfesux

it must work then if they say so. It says they used the official ndsl firmware so it should be ok. for the original ds you had to use noflashme v7. and the problems was when you used the noflashme v7 on a ndsl. and yes. it means you have to short SL1 again
