My DSphat has a problem that annoy me for a long time.
The touch screen is  not balance.   I try to calibrate it for many times but it still not right.  When i try to calibrate it let me touch the red square spot foever (last time I try for 1 hour before i quit)   Is there a way to restore it to factory original setting because when i buy it at first it fine.  I'm not sure why it be like this.  and there is no dust under the corner of the screen.

If i reflashme, will it return to the factory setting?

this problem is realy annoy me when i play games or use onscreen keyboard (Actualy it annoy me all the time!!!!)

FlashMe shouldn't effect it. And normally, you just tap it. o-o Sounds like a defect. If it's under warranty, replace it. If not... well, not much you can do.

on one of my DS units, it only the top half of the touch screen was working (register touch input).

i took it apart, peeled off the touch screen and flexed it a few times. when reinstalled, it worked perfectly.

Hi

Just so you know, If you call nintendo and tell them that you nds broke but the warrenty has expired they will send you a new one for $80 including shipping. And if you want they will send you a lite. PLUS it will have a new warrenty!!!

How do I know... You see once apon a time I put my nds right next to the sink. Then my 2-year-old brother came and...

...and I got a new ds (dsphat, I don't like lites, they break to easily) and everyone lived happily ever after except my old nds. The end.

Did you like my story?

Maybe I should publish it...

Compair to your problem, mine look very small.
I will try your way later because i don't have tri-head screwdriver yet.

I think I going to reflashme  may be it will help

About sending to nintendo for repair.
I'm not living in US.   I'm live in Thailand and there is no NINTENDO office in my country :( .  So sending for repair is not comfortable for me.
